I'm always a bit blue when I get back from home, although I must admit there is something to be said for coming back to your own place, your own bathroom, and your own bed...
I feel like I need to sulk for a couple of days, be rude to everyone for no reason, and like Moppet did on our return flight over when I went to the loo, yowl piteously at the top of my voice - "I WAN SOME MAMA!!"
Have a ton of tags to catch up on and lots of other stuff to share with you - all coming up in short order. But right now, I WAN SOME MAMA!!!!! WAAAAH!!!!!

aw jeez.. i know exactly what you mean... I have atrip coming up in a few weeks and all I am thinking is about how soddy everything will be when I get back...how about doing a rude post to get it out of the system? :)

I can well imagine, given my sis is in the US and constantly howling for Mom. Lucky for me, mommy lives four houses away...but I have to say I love my home, and especially my bedroom and am always glad to get back, even after a short visit...

one of my blogger friends stumbled over your blog a few months back. i dont know if she still reads your blog but i do keep dropping in every few days..i love what you write but i have somehow never written you a comment..i wasn't sure if you'd appreciate comments from strangers...just thought i'd de-lurk today.
and i am totally with you when you "yowl piteously " for mama.. there is absolutely no subsitute for moms.period.
